AI search visibility

Generative Engine Optimisation for UK Businesses

When buyers ask Google's AI Overviews, ChatGPT or Perplexity for a recommendation, those systems answer from what they can find and trust. GEO makes sure there is accurate, citable evidence about your business to find, and measures what happens.

  • A fixed prompt baseline, re-checked monthly
  • Mentions, citations and referrals tracked separately
  • Built on real SEO foundations
  • No promise to control AI answers

Why AI tools describe some businesses and not others

AI answers are assembled from sources a system can retrieve and is willing to trust. Most businesses give it very little to work with.

Inconsistent business information

Different names, services or locations across the website, Business Profile and directories make it hard to describe a business confidently.

No citable evidence

Claims like 'trusted by hundreds' with nothing behind them. Specific, dated, verifiable evidence is what gets used and cited.

Nobody is measuring it

Without a fixed prompt set, nobody knows whether visibility in AI answers is improving or which pages are cited.

GEO starts from a baseline of real buyer prompts, fixes the information and evidence gaps, and tracks mentions, citations and referrals month by month.

Dated evidence: cited in Google's AI Overview

In September 2026, for the search 'Red Pink Roses Bridal Bouquet', a store we built and optimised was cited in Google's AI Overview, shown in the local business card and listed as an organic product result. It is one dated observation on one platform, not a permanent position, and it does not show ChatGPT or Perplexity visibility.

Mention

The answer names your business. Useful, but it may not link to you.

Citation

Your site is linked as a source for the answer. This is the strongest signal of trust.

Referral

A visitor arrives on your site from an AI tool, measured in your analytics.

We never pre-fill results: each cell is recorded when your baseline is taken, then re-checked every month. Answers vary by user, location and session, so we record dated observations, not permanent positions.

How GEO works with us

GEO is part of the AI search add-on, which always sits on top of SEO. The shared add-on covers GEO and AEO together and is charged once.

  1. 1

    Baseline

We agree a fixed set of 15 buyer prompts and record, per platform, whether you are mentioned, cited as a source, or neither.

  2. 2

    Information and entity fixes

Business name, services, locations and descriptions made consistent across your site, Business Profile and key listings.

  3. 3

    Evidence

Case evidence, company and author information turned into clear, crawlable pages that people and AI systems can verify.

  4. 4

    Monthly tracking

The same prompts re-checked each month, with mentions, citations and AI referral visits reported separately.

AI platforms change how they choose sources, and answers vary by user and session. We report what we observe; we cannot guarantee a mention or citation.

GEO pricing

Generative engine optimisation questions

What is generative engine optimisation?

GEO is the work of making a business accurately findable and citable in AI-generated answers, such as Google's AI Overviews, ChatGPT and Perplexity. It builds on SEO: crawlable pages, consistent business information and specific evidence.

Can GEO make my business appear in AI answers?

It can improve the chances by giving AI systems accurate, citable information. It cannot guarantee inclusion: each platform chooses sources differently and answers vary between users and sessions.

How is GEO different from SEO?

SEO earns positions in search results. GEO focuses on how your business is represented and cited inside AI-generated answers. They share foundations, which is why our AI add-on is only sold on top of SEO.

How do you measure AI search visibility?

With a fixed prompt set checked on the same platforms every month. We log three separate things: a mention (your business named), a citation (your site linked as a source) and a referral (a visit from an AI tool in your analytics).

How much does GEO cost?

GEO and AEO are one shared add-on at £79 a month on top of SEO (£278 a month together), charged once. If you only want a one-off check, the AI visibility diagnostic is £129, and it is included free when you start SEO + AI search.

Can you guarantee a citation in an AI answer?

No, and nobody honestly can. We can show you what we changed, which prompts improved and which pages were cited, using dated observations.
