Where online stores lose sales

Most stores do not fail because of the products. They lose people at the same few points.

Collections are hard to browse on a phone

Tiny filters, slow images and endless scrolling. Mobile shoppers give up before they reach the product they wanted.

Product pages leave questions unanswered

No sizing, delivery or returns information near the button. Shoppers leave to check, and many never come back.

Checkout surprises

Delivery costs appear late, payment options are limited or the checkout breaks on one browser. Every surprise costs orders.

We plan the catalogue, product pages and checkout around how your customers buy, then test the full purchase journey before launch.

Shopify or WooCommerce?

We build on both and recommend one in writing after we have seen your catalogue. Here is the honest short version.

Does the £799 starter store fit?

Tick anything your store needs at launch. If none apply, the starter store is likely to fit. Each ticked item is a normal request we quote for separately.

Store requirements

Starter store likely fits. One platform, one language and currency, up to 10 simple products, one payment integration and UK shipping, from £799.

If you tick any item, we scope it and send a fixed quote before work starts.

Payments, shipping and what is in scope

Clear boundaries, so the fixed price stays fixed.

One payment integration, tested

We connect one supported gateway (for example Shopify Payments, Stripe or PayPal) and run real test orders through the full checkout before launch. Your gateway account, its approval and its fees are between you and the provider.

UK shipping zones and rates

Flat, weight-based or free-over-a-threshold rates for UK zones. Courier integrations and live rates are quoted separately.

Mobile product pages

Images, price, options, delivery and returns information placed where a phone shopper needs them, next to the button.

Collections that browse well

Sensible categories, filters where they help and fast-loading images, so shoppers reach the right product quickly.

Store SEO foundations

Product and collection titles, descriptions, clean URLs, structured product information and a sitemap.

How a store project runs

Each stage is signed off by you before the next one starts.

  1. 1

    Catalogue and platform check

We confirm your products, variants, payment gateway and shipping, and recommend Shopify or WooCommerce in writing.

  2. 2

    Store design

Your branding applied to the shop, collection, product and cart templates, reviewed on desktop and mobile.

  3. 3

    Products, payments and shipping

Products loaded (up to ten in the starter scope), one payment integration connected and tested, UK shipping zones and rates set.

  4. 4

    Test orders and launch

Test orders through the full checkout, one round of revisions, then launch.

  5. 5

    Handover

Training on adding products and managing orders, plus 30 days of bug support.

A starter store typically takes three to five weeks from receiving your product content. We confirm gateway compatibility and your catalogue before quoting a fixed price.

E-commerce website development questions

How much does an online store cost?

Our small store starts at £799, one-off: one platform, one language and currency, up to 10 supplied simple products, standard store templates, up to three information pages, one payment integration, basic UK shipping, store SEO foundations, handover and 30 days of bug support. Platform, theme, app, gateway and transaction fees are separate.

Should we choose Shopify or WooCommerce?

Shopify suits most new stores: hosted, secure and easy to run, with a monthly subscription. WooCommerce suits businesses that want full control on WordPress, have content-heavy sites or unusual product rules. We recommend one in writing after the catalogue check.

Can you improve our existing online store?

Yes. We can redesign templates, speed up the store, fix product and collection SEO, or improve checkout without rebuilding from scratch. That work is quoted separately from the starter store.

What payment and delivery setup is included?

One supported payment integration (for example Shopify Payments, Stripe or PayPal), set up and tested with real test orders, and basic UK shipping zones and rates. Extra gateways, courier APIs and complex shipping rules are quoted separately.

Can you migrate our store from another platform?

Yes, as a separately quoted project. We plan product, customer and order migration, and the redirects that protect your search visibility.

Will the store rank on Google?

We build the foundations: clean product and collection pages, titles, descriptions, structured product information and a sitemap. Ongoing ranking work is our SEO plan; large-catalogue SEO is quoted separately.
